DrawMind
Art-therapy-inspired emotional reflection
2nd Place - SKKU AI Hackathon 2025
Overview
DrawMind gamifies self-expression, inspired by art-therapy practice. Users draw through a six-stage narrative journey (Prologue → Bird Island → Fire Island → Bridge → Rain → Return Island) with Little Prince-inspired art direction; AI transforms each canvas drawing into imagery and story, then compiles a structured PDF report for therapist review, referencing established art-therapy assessment theory (HTP, KFD, Machover, Koch).

Highlights
Story-driven drawing journey
Six narrative stages guide users through HTML5 canvas drawing exercises - pen/eraser/color tools, per-stage background music - designed around projective assessment techniques.
Dual-model AI pipeline
Gemini 2.5 Flash Image transforms drawings into stage imagery while ChatGPT generates narrative feedback and the final report; sessions aggregate server-side into a PDF emotional-analysis report.
Production-grade architecture
React 18 + Vite frontend on Vercel, FastAPI backend in Docker on EC2 behind Cloudflare - a full deployment, not a hackathon mock.
Clinical grounding
Analysis references real art-therapy evaluation frameworks (HTP, KFD, Baumtest) - not generic sentiment scoring.
