About Me

Minseo Kim

Hi, I'm Minseo Kim (Ludy). I'm a Solution Architect at FuriosaAI in Seoul, getting customers' AI workloads to actually run on our accelerators. What keeps it fun is that you never know whether the next problem lives in the model or somewhere down in the infrastructure.

On the way here I went through Microsoft, AWS, and Samsung Medison, and co-founded a startup called CareMinder in between. The field kept changing, but the job stayed pretty much the same: taking a half-working demo and turning it into something people actually use.

Outside of work I teach AI workshops for students, used to run my campus GDG, and these days I poke at open source like Pyodide. If something here sounds interesting, send me an email.

    • Co-built an AI voice-routing system for nurse-patient communication, deployed across 5 hospitals (200+ endpoints).
    • Built the real-time app (React Native, FastAPI), with speech recognition tuned for elderly patients in noisy wards.
    • Redesigned the WebSocket layer to eliminate race conditions and duplicate messages in live clinical use.

Contributor to Pyodide - the WebAssembly-based Python runtime for the browser - through the 2025 Open Source Contribution Academy (Special Award).

Worked across the standard library, typing, and CI: from issue triage to merged PRs. Proposed removing the legacy _zoneinfo CPython patch - merged, then restored after maintainer discussion, a useful lesson in upstream trade-offs. Also improved error messages and updated build documentation.
